HeriwarD collects data to provide better services to all users, such as understanding key elements such as user-language or more complex elements such as what cultural heritage you might be most interested in. The ultimate goal is to safeguard and protect the historical and cultural heritage.

Depending on the service to be delivered, HeriwarD uses a variety of location-based technologies, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors that could, for example, provide HeriwarD with information on devices, Wi-Fi access points, and cell phones signal repeaters nearby.
Avoiding to provide some of your Personal Data may prevent HeriwarD from providing its services.
The User assumes the responsibility for the personal data of third parties that are published or shared by HeriwarD and warrants that they have the right to disclose or divulge them by releasing HeriwarD from any liability to third parties.
HeriwarD collects, retains, processes and uses information to improve the user experience and the overall quality of the services offered. HeriwarD also analyzes this information to provide custom content, for example to display more relevant search results.
This information is also used for the operational, technical and administrative management of the report (and the user-created profile) associated with the provision of the Service provided by HeriwarD and the making of communications regarding the conduct of the established relationship.
Reviews and images provided by a user, along with the name of the person who provided them, may be made visible to all other users using HeriwarD. It is also possible that such information may be indexed by search engines and displayed also by non-registered users on HeriwarD.
Location data are used to provide the user with information about cultural assets and events in his proximity. Location data can be stored and subsequently analyzed to provide better and more accurate location services, also based on the user preferences.
HeriwarD could treat your personal information on a site server in a country other than the one where the user is located.
When a user uses HeriwarD, he has available services to modify his personal registration data. If such services were not sufficient, HeriwarD will try to provide the user with methods to quickly update or delete them, unless kept for legitimate commercial or legal purposes. In case of updating the personal registration information, the user may be required to provide all the information needed to verify the identity before meet his request.
Unreasonably repetitive requests that require excessive technical commitment (such as the development of a new system or the substantial modification of an existing practice), or which could endanger other people's privacy (eg requests for Information stored on backup systems) could also be rejected.
HeriwarD tries to make the access to information and its correction free, except in cases where the effort required is overly burdensome. In addition, HeriwarD tries to manage the services in such a way as to protect the information from accidental or misleading destruction. For this reason, after you delete user registration information from the services, you can not delete information from backup systems.
All information resulting from the use of services by users can not be modified or deleted.
HeriwarD does not provide personal information to third parties with the exception of the following cases:
